Sean Size – Partner

Sean oversees day-to-day construction operations, translating design intent into real-world construction and identifying buildable solutions to complex challenges. He is known for asking the right questions, anticipating issues before they arise, and keeping projects moving forward with precision and care. A thoughtful, positive contrarian, Sean challenges conventional approaches in pursuit of better outcomes, uncovering alternative paths and innovative results.

With 30 years of experience in the building industry, Sean has worked across nearly every facet of construction—from whole-home deconstruction and historic preservation to high-performance new builds and deep energy retrofits. He is a Certified Phius Builder, bringing expertise in building science and performance to every project.

Sean serves on the City of Madison Building Board of Appeals and is an active member of Sector67, a local makerspace. He co-leads the Madison East High School robotics club and enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and kayaking with his family.
